The Museum of Military History will be observing National POW/MIA Recognition Day with a special Commander’s Call Event on September 15th, 2018. The ceremony will begin at 11:00AM and continue until 2:00PM in the museum. The ceremony will pay homage to all of the past and present POW/MIA service members and will be conducted by the Museum staff, 463rd Air Cadet Squadron Honor Guard, and members of the Osceola County Veterans Council. Custom made Dog Tags will also be available for purchase with all proceeds supporting the museum’s ability to educate people on the rich history of our military services, their contribution to our nation’s freedoms, and to gain a better understanding of what it means to serve. Former POW’s will be admitted FREE with a reduced fee for entrance to the museum for all others. Families are encouraged to attend and honor these military heroes that have given so much to secure the freedoms we enjoy today.
